Publisher Description
Explore Orkney’s traditional folklore and beautiful landscapes with the Orkney Folklore Trail.
We have told stories on Orkney for a very long time. Tales of mermaids, selkies, trowies, giants, fin folk and others have been passed down through generations. These stories are linked to our landscapes from the coastal headlands, to the solitary mounds, and even our famous standing stones. We invite you on a ‘peedie’ adventure to explore the very best folk tales of Orkney!
The Orkney Folklore Trail is a collaborative project between Orkneyology and Robert Gordon University.
